The Milestone Well-being and cancer screen is our most comprehensive screening package which includes the use of radiation-free technology for whole-body cancer screening. This package provides powerful health reassurance.

1.

SCREENING QUESTIONNAIRE

Once you book your screening appointment, I will ask you to complete a detailed questionnaire, covering your medical history, any medication you may be taking, and asking questions about other risk factors, including your family history and current medical problems.

2.

CONSULTATION

On the day of the screening, I will take a deep-dive, one- hour long consultation, going through your medical history, focussing on any specific concerns that you may have, in addition to delving deeper into your family history and reviewing your lifestyle habits.

3.

PHYSICAL EXAMINATION

This will consist of a detailed physical examination, starting with baseline tests including your blood pressure, pulse rate and rhythm and oxygen saturation. Detailed examination of your heart, lungs, central and peripheral nervous system, gastrointestinal system and skin. For men, there will be a groin, testicular and prostate check and for women, a breast examination (chaperone if requested)

4.

DETAILED ON-THE- DAY TESTING

Comprehensive blood testing including a full blood count, kidney function, liver function, thyroid function, diabetes testing, detailed cholesterol analysis, myeloma screening, Vitamin D levels and tumour markers. Your urine will be analysed for blood and glucose, and a stool sample will be processed for blood (bowel cancer screening). +/- ECG

5.

WHOLE BODY MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING AT THE WORLD-LEADING PAUL STRICKLAND CENTRE

An appointment will be made for your Whole-body MRI scan at the world- leading Paul Strickland Scanner Cancer (PSSC) at Mount Vernon Hospital, Northwood, London. Using radiation- free technology, PSSC uses high-level scanning techniques to look for early changes of cancer throughout the body. After your MRI scan, the consultant radiologist will go through the MRI imaging and report with you.

6.

REVIEW OF RESULTS AND DETAILED WRITTEN REPORT

After your detailed testing, a follow up appointment (either face-to-face or via the telephone depending on your preference) will be arranged to discuss all your results and develop and personalized care plan for you. A full detailed report with results and recommendations will then be provided to you either via post or email. If there are any findings that require follow up, you will be guided as to what is needed and a copy also sent to your general practitioner.
